"Buffy wake up." Williow said shaking Buffy. "There's not enough time."

"There's not enough time for what?" Willow had confusion all over her face."Buffy wake up!" Buffy moved her head back and forth, before finally opening her eyes. "Buffy what were you dreaming about? It sounded like something evil." Buffy looked up at Williow "Angel"

"Angel? What the dream about him?"

"Yeah, he was human...I think. Then he changed back." Buffy looked at Williow with tears in her eyes. "Will, we made love, then I was crying and he was holding me."

"What do you think it means? I mean could it be one of your prophecy dreams? You know those dreams come true."

"No, I doubt it, but then again I don't know. I think its just because Xander said something about him yesterday. But Will...it seemed so real. Like I was there with him."

"Maybe you could talk to Giles. He might know. Or better yet, Angel."

"No, its just a dream. Right? If it happens again I might say something." Buffy looked at her clock. "I better get ready or I'll be late for class."

"Buffy wait up!"

"Hey Riley."

"So you on your way to class?"

"The last I checked I was."

"Mine if I walk you?"

"Not at all."

"So did you sleep well?" Buffy started to remember her dream. {There's not enough time.} Buffy seemed to be in her own world. "Buffy?"

"Oh sorry Riley. Actually no I didn't. A really bad dream."

"Man I hate those."

"Yeah Well..."

"Were here!"

"Oh boy!" Riley walked in and Buffy followed. She went to where her and Will usually sat. "Hey Will"

"Hey Buffy, you okay?"

"Yeah Fine" Professor Walsh came in and started teaching her lesson. Buffy fell asleep shortly after. { "There's not enough time!...I'll never forget, I'll never forget..."

"Buffy you know how much I want you."

"So how does this mature plan work?"} Buff woke up to the sound of the bell. "Will?"

'What? You know you shouldn't be falling asleep during class. You could miss an exam review.' Buffy gave Williow one of her shut the hell up looks. "Okay hushing now." As the two of them started walking out of the room, Buffy began telling Will about her dream. "Will, I had another dream about Angel. It kept changing scenes. I mean one part was like I'll never forget and another one was Buffy you know how much I want you."

"Maybe you need to talk to Giles."

"No"

"Buffy why not!"

"I don't know! I mean I thought I was getting over him. I guess not." Buffy looked down at the floor. "Will, when I went to see him, those feelings all came back again."

"Give it time! God Will I've been away from him for like 5 months."

"And you were also away from him about that long if not longer when you sent him to hell and you never once stop loving him even after what he put us through."

"Thanks Will you're helping."

"Maybe I'm not the one you need to be talking too."

"I'm not worrying about it anymore. I'm going to math class now. Talk to you later Will."

"Bye Buff"

"Buffster Whats happen?" Xander said putting out his hand. "Nothing much Xander, but I'm not doing your little hand shake."

"Thanks Buff." Xander put his hand down. " So new band playing at the Bronze. I can already tell the suck. So where is Oz and Williow?"

'I'm not sure, but what I'm sure of is I need to go protroling. Come with?"

"Sure, I have nothing better to do. Lets go stakes so vamps!" Buffy and Xander left the Bronze and started for the cemetery.

It was after midnight when Buffy came in. Will wasn't there so she assumed she stayed with Oz. She got undressed and put on her P.J.s on. She got in the bed and turned off her lamp and hoped she wouldn't dream any of Angel. { " A friend of yours?"

"Never seen it before."

"That was rude, we should go kill it."....

"And Peanut butter, preferably crunchy."

"Got it"....

"I'm sorry for the way I kissed you."

"You are?"

"Not for the kiss itself."

"Oh good."....

"How can I go on with my life knowing what we had, what we could have had?"

"You won't, I'll be the only one that remembers."

"I'll never forget, I'll never forget."} Buffy sat up with sweat running down her face. "I've got to go to LA and talk to Angel."

"Williow" Buffy called out. "Hey Buffy"

"Look I'm going to LA"

"You are! When?"

"Now, I'm going back to the dorm and pack. It will be just an overnight thing."

"Okay, but.....but I thought you said you're not worrying about it anymore?"

"Yeah I know but, I had another dream again last night. I just need....what to go see Angel and well see if ...if he might be having them. Or just find out why I'm having them."

"Okay but be careful. I'll tell Giles. Just remember to call when you get there."

"I will. Thanks Will."

"Bye Buffy."

"Bye Will."

"Hey Buffy! Where you going?" Buffy was walking towards her car with her bags in hand. She heard Riley's voice. She really didn't have time nor did she what to talk to him. "Oh hi Riley....Well...I'm having to go to L.A.....Dad sick....he needs me."

"Oh...well would you like me to get your assignments for you?"

"Yeah that would be nice. You could just give them to Williow. I men I should be back tomorrow."

"Okay. Well be careful."

"I will, bye Riley"

"Bye."

Buffy pulled into the driveway to Angel's office/apt. She wondered to herself if she was doing the right thing. "Yes Buffy, you are...ask your question and get out. Simple enough." She got out of her car and walked up the stairs. She open the door to find Cordy and Doyle talking. As soon as Cordy saw Buffy she jumped to her feet. "Buffy...Look Doyle its Buffy."

"Hi Buffy" Doyle said while holding out his hand. "Hi Doyle." Buffy said returning his jester. "Hey Cordy. How are u?"

"I'm good. and you?"

"I've been better."

"You must be here to see Angel?"

"yeah"

"Well he is in there. In his office."

"Thanks" Buffy walked to his office door and knocked. When she heard his voice, she walked in. Angel jumped to his feet. "Buffy...Hi! What are you doing here?"

"To talk."

"Oh...well Kate this is Buffy and...and Buffy this is Kate." Buffy shook her hand just to be nice, but wonder who the hell she was. "If this is a bad time I could come back."

"No!"

"You know I was just leaving. I'll talk to you later Angel." Kate walked to the door. "Nice to meet you Buffy."

"You too."

"Bye Angel"

"Bye" When Kate left, Buffy looked over at Angel. "Who is she?"

"Oh, Kate just my...my cop friend. She helps me help people."

"Oh"

"Can I get you something?"

"No, I can't stay long. I'm just here to ask you something."

"What?"

"Well for starters you can sit down now. I mean I'm just Buffy. But I can see why you would be shocked to see me. I mean Cordy was. But anyway I've been having these dreams about.....well us. I feel so real in them. Like I've lived it."

"What kind of dreams are they?"

"I see you and me making.....well...love and then you're holding me. Its like you're human for almost a day. Then you had to change back to keep me safe. I say stuff like I'll never forget, and Oh god threes not enough time." Angel just looked at her with sad eyes. "What Angel?"

"Well its not a dream."

"Okay.....what are u telling me? That we made loved you changed back to keep me safe?"

"Yeah something like that."

"How?"

"Well do you remember the morel demon that I killed the last time you were here?"

"yeah"

"Well the...the first time I didn't kill it and its blood mixed with mine and made me mortal. We...we did make love and while you were sleeping Doyle came down here and told me he had a vision. The demon came back stronger and I had to kill it. I had no strength and well almost died but you came and saved me. You killed it. The next day I went to see the Oracles and asked them to change me back because it would cost you your life. They took back the day and I wold only remember it."

"Oh...now I see why I said how can I go on with my life knowing what we had, what we could have had...And now thinking about what we did its only going to make it harder."

"I know Buffy. I swear I didn't want to change back, but if the cost was your life...I had to change back."

"I understand, its just hard. W made love. I felt like a normal girl waking up with her normal boyfriend." A tear fell from Buffy's face. Angel walked over to her and gently removed the others away. "Buffy I...I love you and if there was anyway."

"Shhh.....I understand. It will be hard knowing what we could have had, but I'll live." Tears were still falling from Buffy's face. Buffy took Angel's hand and looked up at him. "I love you Angel and I will always. No matter who comes into my life." Buffy walked away to the door. "Buffy." She turned around "Hmm"

"You still my girl?"

"Always."
