I understand this sucks, it's my first attempt at a
BA poem. I don't own them, if I did, Riley would never have existed and Buffy
and Angel would be happy.
This is my take on Buffy's POV on what should have
become of the B/A romance after Joss ran them through the emotional
rollercoaster of season 3.
A shadow on the alley floor
An image of what you were once before
Hold you in my arms I will nevermore
For days I shed so many tears
Each on reflecting my many fears
And then a glimmer of hope appears
Through the darkness and the stary
night
You come and set my heart alight
In your eyes burns a fire bright
"I love you" you whisper fondly
"For the heartbreak I caused you, I'm
sorry"
And then you smile ever so sweetly
" I have learned an important
lesson"
"My love for you cannot be broken"
"Together our souls beat in rythm"
And underneath the twilight sky
With your hand in mine I seem to fly
To saddness I bid a last goodbye
I walk the path of life with my Angel
The heavens sing a joyful carol
"Oh come all, witness love forever
faithful"
