Chapter 3      
       "So any word from Oz yet?"It was a beautiful day
out and Both girls were sitting at the new cafe "Coffee Beanz".As Willow
sipped her frappuccino thoughts of Oz came gushing towards her."No,not
yet" By seeing the sad look wash over her face which Buffy knew all to
well along with the emotions running through her head and heart,Buffy
quickly dropped the subject. She stared up at the sky and thought just
how breathtaking it was .How could this place ever be labelled the
Hellmouth? Oh yeah because of at nite when nightmares become reality.But
in the day it was whole different story.Buffy truly believed that if she
was with Angel She would be in Heaven.Oh well save those thoughts for
another day she thought.Buffy was dreading going back to campus and
seeing Riley.
"So Buffy I heard there's going to be a party at one of those frats
tonight,You want to go?"
Buffy thought oh yay another reason for Riley to want to take me out.
"No Will,I'm going to catch up on my sleep tonite,Since ya know there's
kind of been a whole lot of peaceful sleeping lacking in my department."
Buffy sighed."Its getting late,Lets go back." Both girls stood up and
pushed in their chair.They found the garbage pail and threw out their
leftover pieces of muffin and drinks. "So you think Professor Walsh is
gong to have an evil bitch attack on us for not showing up to class
today?"
Buffy turned to face Willow "I wouldn't be surprised if she turned out
to be a demon of some sorts that I will have to fight.I bet she is a
demon creating little demon spawns made out of other demons and parts of
a robot ,also I thi--"
Buffy stopped talking when she saw the weird look on Willows face.
"Sorry it's the slayer in me"
With a soft chuckle Willow looked up to see that they had reached the
campus. A soft sigh from Buffy told Willow that she had realized they
reached campus also.
"Jeez I thought once high school was over things would be different,I'd
like school, But nope still hate it.Maybe I should have been like Xander
and lived in the basement delivering sandwiches." Buffy thought for a
second and looked at Willow. "Nope I'd rather be slayer most of the
time."
  Weaving in and out of students the two girls finally reached their
dorm room.With a quick twist of the knob they walked in to see the
little red light on the message machine blinking.With an annoyed look
Buffy went over to the machine to see who had called.She pressed play
realizing that it was probably Riley just who she didn't want to hear
from.
Beep "Hi Buffy it's mom,Just wanted to see how things are,Haven't heard
from you in awhile...Oh well call me back soon." Beep. message two "Hows
everyone's favorite slayer and witch?It's Xander.Being bored.Ok call me
back"
Beep message three, "Ah oh yes,Willow it is Giles.I have some important
news on ahhh oh yes the spell.Ok?It's rather urgent Goodbye."Beep
messages complete.
"hmmm that's funny why is he calling Willow.God we know how much that
man loves his books"Buffy thought to herself. "Will?How come Giles left
a message for you? While going through her draw Buffy heard Willow
mumble something about needing help on a spell.Buffy took off her coat
throwing it on the floor.She then took off her shoes and opened her draw
looking for one of her prized possessions."There it is she thought"
under the book of poetry Angel had given her for her Birthday sat her
Diary.Both meant so much to her.One was used to express her emotions and
the other was used to tell her emotions. Closing the draw she sat on her
bed and began writing with her favorite blue inked pen.As willow began
to get ready to leave to go out,Buffy started writing about her dream or
the pieces she still remembered.
